Statements of the Accused, Banned from Publication by the President of the Court in the Cairo Trial – Olei HaGardom
"Statements of the Accused in the Cairo Trial", published by Lehi (Lohamei Herut Yisrael), Adar 5705 (1945).
This protocol contains the statements of Eliyahu Bet-Zuri and Eliyahu Hakim, who were sentenced to death by the British and executed.
Hakim and Bet-Zuri were captured in Egypt after they assassinated Lord Moyne on behalf of Lehi. This assassination was carried out in response to Moyne’s statements opposing Jewish immigration to the Land of Israel and his active efforts to close the gates of Palestine to Holocaust survivors.
