Yahadut Polin – Early Underground Bulletins Exposing the Horrors of the Holocaust

Publications from Eretz Yisrael at the onset of World War II, reporting on the mass murder of Eastern European Jewry. The newspapers were edited by Binyamin Mintz, who concealed his name. Due to censorship restrictions, the issues were published under different titles.

Presented here are two issues:

Yahadut Polin. Tel Aviv, 26 Adar II 5700 – April 5, 1940.

Includes an article: "The Scroll of Suffering of Lodz Jewry – How the Ghetto Was Established and How the Jews Live There, as Told by Eyewitnesses..."
8 large pages, 50 cm.
Kol Yahadut Polin. Tel Aviv, 11 Nissan 5700 – April 19, 1940.

Includes an article: "Save Our Children from the Nazi Inferno! – Who Will Rescue the Young Generation of Polish Jewry?"
8 large pages, 50 cm.
These significant bulletins, printed at the beginning of the Holocaust, were intended to raise awareness among the public in Eretz Yisrael about the atrocities of the Holocaust, at a time when many sought to suppress the events unfolding in Eastern Europe.

The Bibliographic Institute recorded that a total of only 5 issues were published.

General condition: Good.
