One of the fundamental works on the laws of STaM (Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzot). The author was one of the greatest rabbis of his generation, also known for his work Ma'il Tzedakah.
Rabbi Yonah Landsofer was especially proficient in the laws of STaM, and it is known that he personally wrote an entire Sefer Torah. This Torah scroll was considered a model for halachic rulings, as mentioned in She'elat Ya'avetz, Part I, Siman 71:
"…And so it is in the Sefer Torah here in Prague, which was written entirely by the esteemed, righteous, and pious Gaon, Rabbi Yonah Landsofer, of blessed memory…"
