A Receipt Ledger of the "Vaad Haklali Knesset Yisrael" – Jerusalem, 5709 [1949], Featuring Signatures of the Admor Rabbi David Twersky of Rachmastrivka and Other Great Rabbis of Jerusalem.

The ledger contains two handwritten signatures of Rabbi David Twersky of Rachmastrivka:
"David son of the Tzaddik Rabbi Menachem Nachum, of blessed and saintly memory."

Additionally, it includes signatures of Rabbi Ben Zion Yadler, Rabbi Binyamin Rabinowitz, and other distinguished Jerusalem figures.

Rabbi David Twersky of Rachmastrivka (5632–5711 [1872–1951]) was one of the prominent Admorim of his generation, the son and successor of his father, Rabbi "Nachum'tche" Twersky. He was married to Shifra, daughter of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel Twersky of Skver.

His leadership style mirrored that of his father, and due to his exceptional humility, he conducted his tishen (Chassidic gatherings) together with his brother—a rare and almost unprecedented practice in Chassidic history. He passed away in Jerusalem and was buried in the Sanhedria Cemetery.

Rabbi David of Rachmastrivka was the father of Rabbi Yochanan Twersky of Rachmastrivka and the grandfather of Rabbi Yisrael Mordechai Twersky, of blessed memory, the father of the current Rachmastrivka Rebbe, Rabbi David Twersky.

The ledger contains dozens of receipts, most of which are signed by the recipient, with all featuring the signature of Rabbi Avraham David Rosenthal. Some receipts have attached accompanying documents.

Overall condition: Good. Stains, fold marks, and minor wear on the attached documents.
