Birat Migdal Oz, laws and customs from birth to death, educational guidance, laws of issur v’heter, and more, by Rabbi Yaakov Emden. [Lemberg?] [ca. 1860].
The third part of the Yaavetz’s great work. The title page states that it was printed in Berdichev. With approbations from Rabbi Mordechai Twersky of Chernobyl and Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Ruzhin.
Inscription (and possibly a signature) on the title page in pencil: "Moshe Yechiel HaLevi Epstein, Rabbi of Ozerov."
Throughout dozens of leaves, brief handwritten corrections appear in pen or pencil.
[2], 182, 99, [1] leaves. 21.5 cm.
Overall condition: Good. Some worming and tunnels in the first and last leaves. Reinforcement on the back of the title page and the last leaf. New binding.
