Beit Din Documents [3] – Signed by Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank
A set of three official documents on the official letterhead of the Chief Rabbinate, each hand-signed by Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank.
Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank (1873–1961), renowned author of the Bar Tzvi series, after which he was named, served as the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem and was one of the greatest halachic authorities of his generation. He was a member of the Beit Din, succeeding Rabbi Shmuel Salant.
For approximately 50 years, he was a member of the Ashkenazi Shechita Committee in Jerusalem. He strongly opposed any changes to the long-standing shechita practices, as established during the time of Rabbi Salant and Rabbi Diskin, and firmly resisted any modifications.
Condition: Good.
