A collection of [6] letters from the Torah sages of the generation, of blessed memory and may they live long. 1964-1995

A collection of [6] fine endorsement letters, handwritten and signed by the great Torah sages who lived and worked in Jerusalem in the previous generation—dayanim, heads of yeshivot, and kabbalists. Jerusalem, 1964-1995.

A letter from the great gaon, Rabbi Tzvi Markowitz [1918-2006], Rosh Yeshiva of Karlin-Stolin and a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of Degel HaTorah. He effectively served as the Ashkenazi rabbi of Ramat Gan. He was a disciple of the gaon Rabbi Shimon Shkop. His son is the gaon Rabbi Shmuel Markowitz, Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh.

A letter from the great gaon, Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Waldenberg [1916-2006], author of Shu"t Tzitz Eliezer and one of the foremost halachic authorities of the 20th century. A member of the Great Rabbinical Court. He was a close friend of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv and, like him, belonged to the school of Torah scholars from Jerusalem who were trained in broad-based mastery of all areas of Torah.

His son, the tzaddik Rabbi Simcha Bunim Waldenberg [passed away in Adar II 2005], served as the rabbi of the Ezrat Torah neighborhood and was one of the great halachic authorities. In outlook, he was the complete opposite of his father, who leaned toward Zionism, whereas he was the rabbi of Satmar chassidim and one of the leading zealots in Jerusalem, often leading demonstrations against the state.

A long letter in the handwriting by Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky.

A letter from the renowned gaon, Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi [1929-2024], Rosh Yeshiva of Ateret Yisrael and a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of Degel HaTorah. One of the great heads of yeshivot in the last generation. His sharp sayings and famous lectures have become fundamental assets in the yeshiva world.

A letter from the gaon and kabbalist Rabbi Gamliel Rabinowitz [may he live long], Rosh Yeshiva of Sha'ar HaShamayim and leader of the Shivtei Beit Hashem community in Jerusalem. One of the tzaddikim and kabbalists of our generation. He has authored many books on halacha and kabbalah.

[6] sheets of paper, various sizes. All in the handwriting and signed by the rabbis.

Overall good condition.
