The Personal "Haggadah" of the Holy Admor of Toldot Aharon, of Blessed Memory
"Then You performed most wondrous miracles at night."
The Passover Haggadah of the Holy Admor, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kahn, founder of the Toldot Aharon Chassidic dynasty and one of the most prominent Rebbes of his generation. This Haggadah is interwoven with Chassidic teachings from the righteous luminaries of previous generations. Throughout its pages, remnants of the Rebbe's Four Cups of Wine remain. On the flyleaf, a signed certification from his grandson, shlit"a, is present.
A sacred and exceptional relic from one of the greatest tzaddikim of recent generations—the Haggadah from which the Rebbe conducted his exalted service on the holy night of Passover, the night which, according to the writings of the Arizal and Chassidic tradition, is the most elevated night of the year, and the night of the greatest divine revelations experienced by Chassidic masters and luminaries.
The Rebbe cherished this Chassidic Haggadah, which was printed together with the sacred works of the Admorim of previous generations:
Divrei Yechezkel Shraga by the Holy Rabbi of Sieniawa,
The Kuntres of the author of Ariyeh D'bei Ilai,
Letters and responsa from the great Admorim of past generations, including those of Sanz, Sieniawa, Gur, Tchechnov, and others.
It also contains the famous halachic response of the Divrei Chaim concerning machine-made matzot.
This Haggadah is adorned throughout with wine stains that dripped over the years from the Four Cups the Rebbe drank as he ascended to spiritual heights. It is awe-inspiring to examine where these stains are most concentrated—as if revealing to us the precise moments when the Rebbe reached complete transcendence:
"Ve'higianu halayla hazeh" (And brought us to this night),
"Rasha ma hu omer" (The wicked son—what does he say?!),
The order of Hallel,
"L'Shana Haba'ah B'Yerushalayim" (Next year in Jerusalem!),
"Az rov nissim hifleitah" (Then You performed most wondrous miracles!),
and other key points in the Haggadah.
On the flyleaf, there is an extensive handwritten attestation of authenticity, signed by Rabbi Mordechai HaCohen Kahn, grandson of the Rebbe. He is the son of Rabbi Moshe Kahn, Rosh Yeshiva of Toldot Aharon, and the son-in-law of the Admor of Kretshnif-Kiryat Gat, who certifies that this Haggadah belonged to his esteemed grandfather, the Holy Rebbe, of blessed memory.

The Holy Admor, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kahn [1914–1997], one of the most esteemed Admorim of his generation and the founder of the Toldot Aharon Chassidic dynasty, was renowned for his holiness, asceticism, and prophetic spirit.
He was a disciple at Yeshivat Satmar, under the leadership of Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, where he became close to a circle of righteous scholars who devoted themselves to pure divine service.
Following the passing of his father-in-law, Rabbi Aharon Roth, known as Rabbi Arele, the majority of Chassidim chose to crown him as their leader and successor. Under his leadership, the Chassidut flourished and expanded, establishing new centers.
