Books printed in the Slavuta and Zhitomir presses are regarded with special sanctity among Chassidic circles. It is known that even the printing tools and types were immersed in a mikveh before beginning the holy work. It is well known that possessing a book from the Slavuta or Zhitomir presses is considered a segulah for protection and success in the home.
