Stirring collection: [8] responsa letters [200 words] in the holy handwriting of Maran Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky
A rare and sacred collection of eight responsa postcards, entirely in the holy handwriting of Maran Sar HaTorah, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. Approximately two hundred words in his handwriting. Bnei Brak, circa 1990–2000 (5750s–5760s).
Each postcard contains halachic answers written by Rabbi Chaim himself, some concise and others more elaborate, including his full handwritten signature. These are authentic responsa written by the Gadol HaDor to questions he received from across the Jewish world.
Highlights from the collection:
Responsa postcard, signed. No date identified. Answers to three questions.
~10 words in Rabbi Chaim’s handwriting, including his holy signature. Sender’s name also in his handwriting.
Responsa postcard, postmarked Sivan 5761 ("Month of the Giving of the Torah").
~14 words including his signature.
Notably includes a full halachic reply consisting of just one word: “Tikanes” ("You may enter"). On the reverse: Rabbi Chaim’s handwritten address and full signature.
Responsa postcard, postmarked Av 5761.
Extended halachic reply (2 lines) on laws of Me'ilah (misuse of sacred property).
~25 words in Rabbi Chaim’s handwriting and signature.

Contains the phrase: “Tikanes v’tish’al kol she’eilosecha” (“Come in and ask all your questions”).
Responsa postcard, postmarked Tammuz 5753.
Lengthy, scholarly answer (3 lines) on Bava Kamma.
~40 words in Rabbi Chaim’s handwriting and signature.
Rare elaboration using Rabbi Chaim’s unique halachic terminology.
Responsa postcard, postmarked 4 Sivan 5753 ("Three Days of Preparation before Shavuot").
Extensive halachic answer (4 lines) on Yerushalmi Zera’im, a tractate on which Rabbi Chaim was considered a leading authority.
~50 words in his handwriting and signature. A particularly rare and detailed response.
Responsa postcard, undated.
Important answer on the question: “How far must one cut the fingernails?”
~30 words in his handwriting and signature.

Beyond their immense historical and halachic value as rulings from the Gadol HaDor, these handwritten postcards—authored by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, who was widely regarded as a miracle worker—are also considered spiritual segulot and amulets.
[8] postal cards, 15x9 cm each.
