Antique African Carved Ivory Warrior Totem
Antique West African Carved Ivory Warrior Totem | The statue is sculpted and stained/dyed brown | The totem depicts a seated tribal warrior or chief, dressed with armor, helmet, and weapons, sitting atop a totem carved with four different levels. Immediately beneath the warrior are two captives or slain enemy with bound hands and feet. The third level contains what appear to be additional captives, one bound, kneeling in front of a large pot, appearing to cook. The fourth/bottom level shows seated figures eating. | Approx. Size: 13" H x 3.25" W x 3.5" D; Weight: 3.2 lbs.
