Jacques Pouchain (French, 1925-2015) Linocut Print
Large linocut print on paper mounted on board framed with black mat. Features an abstracted owl with large wagon wheel eyes illustrated with intersecting lines and loops and ink sprays. Artist's initials printed to lower right corner. Ground is brushed white with tan tones. Jacques Pouchain is an institutionally recognized painter, sculptor, and ceramicist and has been featured in many major art museums including the Museum of Modern Art of Paris.
