Bull Dog, Coin on Nose - Cast Iron Mechanical Bank
Made by J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Ct. - Circa Mid 1880's. The seated bull dog waits patiently for you to balance coins upon his snout. Pulling his tail down and backwards causes his mouth to open to swallow your penny. He is much obliged to you for feeding him. This is a very superior specimen of the Bull Dog Bank.
Condition: Pristine Paint and Patina.
