Late 18th century heavy and well carved pair or brace of cavalry pistols for the markets of eastern Europe, Greece and Italy. Each stock of dark wood ornatly carved with highly detailed images of scrolling and floral patterns. Silver cast panels throughout inlaid with motifs of panoply of arms among scrolling. Engraved flintlock lock plate and curlicue trigger. Large caliber bore barrels. Size 20" L, barrel 13 1/2" L
