Spanish Renaissance Bronze Table Bell, 16th c.
Large Spanish or Basque region table bell case in bronze and inscribed in the 17th century style. Reading to the lower rim of the bell (DHEMONY MEFFECIT ANNO 1669). Large figural finial of an archangel with a shield of the Spanish bleeding heart. The body decorated with scenes of riding figures and battle. Strong ring. Size 6 1/2" H
